Arianna will be giving away her 7+ years of education in Clinical Psychology during this session to bridge the gap between coaching and therapy. This 90-minute session will go over 4 different education areas that Arianna has researched to be most beneficial to coaches. These include but are not limited to; Risk Assessment, Clinical Skills, Application and Crisis Management, and Utilizing Consultation and Referral.
* In Risk Assessment, we will focus on intake processes such as initial consultation questions, intake questions, and established safety plan to protect not only the client but the coach as well.
* In Clinical Skills, this will be a brief training on tools such as active listening, reflection, holding space tools through body language and verbal cues to support clients. This section will go over how to support clients experiencing the most common clinical diagnoses and Arianna will go over her “capture the flag” concept in catching certain flags for higher risk clients. This section will also address suicidal clients and how to best support them in a way that protects both the coach and the client.
* In Application and Crisis Management, we will be going over case examples, role plays, and intervention suggestions to handle certain challenging scenarios with clients. We will also go over how to use any triggers, therapeutic ruptures, and a request to end services prematurely in a healing way for the client.
* Next, we have Utilizing Consultation and Referral which explores how coaches can utilize consultation with other coaches and other mental health professionals with certain coaching client questions and how to differentiate when a client may need referral to a mental health professional or higher-level care.
The session addresses ICF core competencies and attendees may receive CEUs, BCCs for attending in the following areas:

With all the twists and changes that 2020 brought with her, perhaps the most important transition that many service providers experience, is the shift from delivering services in-person to using the Internet as their “meeting place”.
While this is an opportunity to expand your reach as a coach and teach anyone in the world, it comes with a need to up-level your command of the virtual environment. The level of intimacy and trust that you used to create in your in-person environment must now be created on Zoom.
The problem is, most people today feel “zoomed-out”. Your job is to overcome their resistance (and maybe yours, too). Your goal is for your clients to leave your meetings energized and excited!
Zoom gives you helpful tools and features that you might not be aware of. This presentation will lay the path for you to fully realize your coaching potential in the on-line space.

In 2010 Yoram gave up working in the office and transitioned his whole company to the work-from-home model. In 2013, he sold the company and started his current coaching business, Decisive Action Workshops, growing it as a solopreneur, working from home and using Zoom as his on-line platform.

The Black Lives Matter movement has been at the forefront of national discussions for the past six months. It is a simple yet frequently misunderstood and recently maligned initiative that seeks to demonstrate the state of race relations and work for social justice in the USA and beyond. Valda has been a leader in the field of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for over 20 years. During that time she has worked in over 50 countries with such varied groups as CEOs of Fortune 100 companies, the US Military, Buddhist Monks, Tribal Chiefs, Law Enforcement Agencies, Universities, and non-profit organizations. This session will address what is at issue for the movement and what the issues mean to coaches and consultants.
Valda Boyd Ford, MPH, MS, RN, is the CEO of the Center for Human Diversity, Inc., a non-profit agency dedicated to improving communication between and across diverse groups. Over the past 30 years she has worked in 57 countries with CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, tribal chiefs, Afghani teachers and Buddhist monks, health care professionals and law enforcers to improve health, decrease negative outcomes, enhance leadership skills, and decrease vulnerability.
From her early days in Saudi Arabia where she worked with multi-lingual and multi-national staff from 33 nations to deliver one standard of care to her appointment to the Council of Public Representatives of the National Institutes of Health, Valda has been intimately involved with education and policy development. Her career has taken her to the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, the Netherlands and eventually the Caribbean, where she developed her own cardiac, stroke and physical rehabilitation center. The first facility of its kind in the region, Valda realized the financial and social hardships of patients sent 1000 miles to the mainland for care and capitalized on the value of having exceptional care rooted in cultural and linguistic diversity near at hand. Valda has started four successful businesses in the USA and the Caribbean.
Because of a high demand for her advice and training she created the Center for Human Diversity. Her leadership and innovative approach to problems has garnered her many honors and awards for her work – from innovative and effective workforce assessments to community based programs for vulnerable populations to HIV and STD prevention strategies for teens and adults.
Valda has contributed chapters to two medical textbooks on diversity and ethics, Cultural Proficiency in Eliminating Health Disparities and Health Care Services, Racial and Ethnic Minorities and Underserved Populations: Patient and Provider Perspectives. Every business needs to engage in marketing activities to generate leads. One form of marketing that is familiar to most businesses is to make or receive warm introductions to and from other people and businesses that you know and trust.
What if you were actively working with people who could introduce you to new qualified leads for your business from their audience, and promote your offers to their audience either with you or on your behalf, and in return you share a portion of the sales proceeds with them for the referral.
And, what if you do the same for them in return for a portion of their sales proceeds?
Everyone wins - the partner receiving the referrals,
the partner making the referrals,
and their mutual clients.
These win-win-win affiliate referral relationships are called affiliate relationships or Joint Ventures, and the business owners who are collaborating are often referred to as joint venture partners or affiliate partners.
In this highly interactive presentation, you will get structures for:

All coaches desire to have a positive impact on their clients. Unfortunately, they often overlook a personal attribute that is critical for personal and leadership development: Mindsets. And even if they do focus on and value mindsets, they often do not have clarity on what mindsets they need to focus on and develop within their clients. In this session, the latest in psychology and neuroscience will be presented to explain the power and importance of mindsets for personal development, and show how specific mindsets have been proven to be necessary for personal and leadership success.
To better understand your mindset, registered attendees will be provided a link to complete an optional personal mindset assessment.

Speaking to groups is the number one way to build a coaching practice, but only if who you’re being in front of the room is as present, authentic, and sincere as when you’re interacting with clients. But, what’s the key to making it happen? Never stop being a coach! Apply the same core competencies to speaking as you do to your coaching. Create a safe and supportive environment in your room that honors your audience’s agenda. When you’re open and flexible in the moment, you create a dynamic synergy with your audience.
The bottom line: Talking with a client in a coaching setting is very much like speaking to a group
of people you don’t know … if you approach it the right way.

Why didn’t it work?
You know there was a message in there somewhere but, somehow, it just got lost.

- Cynthia Burnham, New Yorker Magazine, March 27, 2017

In this insightful and interactive presentation, you will learn:

In her corporate years, she learned that all the credentials in the world wouldn’t help you if you couldn’t make a powerful and compelling connection with the important people around you, and, since leaving her SVP job 15 years ago, has made it her business to help people get out of their own way and learn to own their best selves, while delivering business results.
Since then, she has helped hundreds of groups and thousands of people in a variety of industries, including Sony, Booz Allen Hamilton, Allianz Global Investors, Providence Health, UBS, Genentech, Illumina, AMN Healthcare, Pfizer, UCSD, and the RAND Corporation. Cynthia has been a featured speaker at symposiums, and is the author of “The Charisma Edge: A How-to Guide For Turning On Your Leadership Power.” A million years ago, she also earned an MBA from UCLA, and a BA in Creative Studies from UCSB.
She was recently designated one of Marshall Goldsmith’s MG100 Coaches.

If you’re like most coaches, you were drawn to this profession because you like helping people.
But the truth is you can’t help many people if you don’t stay in business.
As coaches, we need to understand that our ability to build a powerful practice depends largely on how well we market ourselves, constantly.

Susan reveals a science-based approach to help people identify their motivational outlook, shift from sub-optimal to optimal motivation, and reflect on their shift to prompt behavior change and sustain the optimal motivation required for achieving complex and long-term goals. Coaches discover how Motivation Conversations are distinctly different, yet compliment, traditional coaching.
Motivation science has evolved. Groundbreaking research reveals the truth about our nature and human motivation that leads to major motivation breakthroughs on routine tasks and significant goals. We are finally coming out of the dark ages of motivation practices that have thwarted or eroded the optimal motivation necessary for creativity, innovation, sustainable high performance, and overall wellbeing.
Motivation is a skill that anyone can learn, nurture, and apply to experience optimal motivation anytime and anywhere they choose. People don’t need to depend on willpower or wait for leaders, teachers, parents, or coaches to create an environment that is optimally motivating. They can pro-actively apply three scientific truths to shift your own motivation reality.Coaches are uniquely positioned to help people apply these scientific truths
Susan will invite you to consider how to integrate motivation conversations into your coaching practices. Moving people forward on their goals through problem solving and action planning when they don’t have optimal motivation is like building castles on sand. The energy to pursue their goals simply erodes.
Susan Fowler implores leaders to stop trying to motivate people. In her bestselling book, she explains WHY MOTIVATING PEOPLE DOESN’T WORK… AND WHAT DOES: The New Science of Leading, Engaging, and Energizing,
